Soubirous Place is a learning and leisure centre and we have a range of activities for people with a disability.

Soubirous Place is a for people interested in new and interesting day-time activities. Soubirous Place offers a range of weekday programs both educational and recreational for people who are eligible for HACC services.

Soubirous Place offers a Living and Learning Program for people seeking new friendships, new skills and talents, and involvement within the community.

Soubirous Place:

Respite Services for people with a mild to moderate disability; and
Living and Learning Services for people with an intellectual disability seeking a variety of daytime options.

Soubirous Place is open Monday to Friday 8.45am to 4.30pm with activities held between 9.00am and 3.00pm.

Closed all Public Holidays.

Knights of the Southern Cross Dinner

The Knights of the Southern Cross hosted their annual dinner raising funds for Soubirous Place. This sensational event was held Wednesday the 26 of April. And raised a whopping $900.00. Thank you to all involved.

Sunny Bank Lions

A HUGE thank you goes to the Sunny Bank Lions who recently donated $1,500 to Soubirous Place as a result of the very sucessful annual art & craft show. If you missed the show you missed a great opportunity to view & buy some very interesting peices of art from some of the areas most talented. Keep watching for updates on next years dates & make sure you dont miss the opportunity to get along.

WELCOME STUDENTS!

Soubirous Place has been very blessed this year with a string of commited students from both the university of Queensland medical school & Morton TAFE. If your interested in study or are studying & need to undertake a practical component, consider Soubirous place! You will learn so much of the practical, hands on 'stuff' that you just cant get in the classroom.

Entertainment Books

Now available at Soubirous Place is the latest entertainment book for 2010/2011 Brigid has books for Brisbane $65 and also for the Gold Coast $50. These are great value as there is plenty of options for everyone for dining out acommodation and the movies etc. The books make a great gift consider one for Father's Day.

VOLUNTEERS

If you have a spare day, why not consider volunteering your time at Soubirous Place. The additional help allows us to plan activities for the clients that we would not otherwise be able to undertake. It's a great way to give joy to someone special & have a great time into the bargain.
